A Life Influenced by the Word of God

Okay, so you're never too old to have fun, at least that's my confession! I love a challenge. I'm competitive (probably to a fault). I love deeply. My servant heart reaches far beyond my small-town boundaries as an international traveler, missionary, preacher, teacher, and pastor. I love the lepers in India as much as the team of nearly 35 pastors, and our precious friends, Pastor Prabhakar, hiw wife, Sumathi, and their children, John Victor and Jonina. And, it goes without saying that I love my six children, thirteen grandchildren, and the growing number of great-grandchildren! My life is full, even though I seem to be slowing down after some health challenges. I give glory to God for every opportunity, lesson learned, and victory won!

This website is filled with stories that have led me to where I am today. You're invited to learn more about how God has protected and led me through life, making unique connections, putting me in undeserved positions, and using me when I felt so incredibly unworthy and unqualified. Some would call it miraculous; to be truthful, be reminded that God Himself sovereignly, and often mysteriously, leads His people to accomplish a goal He has in mind. We don't always understand. It can be difficult to comprehend. And it can be very humbling to know we don't deserve anything, let alone His loving and very personal care and protection. He'll never let us down!

I'm the author of Seasons of Refreshing, a series of four devotional books, one for each season. I have also been published as a guest author for anthologies, articles, and other publications. I love to write Bible studies based on notes I share from my in-depth study of God's Word.
