To My Children

This was originally written and posted on Facebook by Cassidy Martin Phillips. Her response to this timely question was so

I pray there is something that will speak to, inspire, encourage, or challenge you in some way. I hope my non-typical life has been filled with purpose.

We can’t ever get enough of our grandkids! They may be loud. They are most definitely messy! They are picky eaters making meals a joke. They stay up all night and play all day. But, they’re ours. One-hundred percent, flesh and blood, Ross offspring!

We're so enraptured with our lives and things and sense of self-worth that we barely take notice of the majority of the world suffering with lack -- not just lack of being able to get our email because the internet is down, but lack of the ability to survive.

Body aches but Mommy doesn’t feel it. It’s been replaced with an abundance of love for Baby and a sense of gratitude to the One who makes miracles of birth happen.
