I will praise Him still.

When my children are drowning in tears,
I will praise Him still.

When disappointments shake my world,
I will praise Him still.

When sickness and infirmity relentlessly attack,
I will praise Him still.

When plans are foiled by the enemy’s lies,
I will praise Him still.

When temporal victory silently slips through our hands,
I will praise Him still.

When this mother’s heart breaks for her own,
I will praise Him still.

“O LORD, Yours is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and, the majesty. For all in the heavens and in the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You lift up Yourself to all as Head” (1 Chronicles 29:11).

When the sweet voice of victory chases away despair,
I will praise Him still.

When the infallible Word of the Lord strengthens faith,
I will praise Him still.

When things of this world fade in the Light of His presence,
I will praise Him still.

“O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth” (Isaiah 25:1).
