No-Bake Oaties

A Kid Favorite

My recipe book includes lots of options the kids loved. In fact, this recipe was copied and handed to me by my daughter, Martha, with hope I would make them for her! It was a hit, not only for her but for all six kiddos!

• 2 c Sugar
• 1/2 c Butter (1 stick)
• 1/2 c Milk
• 1/4 c cocoa

Combine and boil 1 minute. Add ...

• 1/4 c Peanut Butter
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 3 c Oatmeal

Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper, let cool and set before turning the kids loose on these goodies!!
