Santa Snacks
Sometimes recipes evolve over time and, although really tasty, it's always refreshing to revisit one of the original recipes to spark fond memories of years ago.
My Mom's best friend, Dorothy Tazelaar, served these Santa Snacks at a wedding shower he hosted for me in late 1979. She gifted me with some of her recipes to give me a good start as a homemaker and kitchen guru. Not so sure that worked the way she envisioned, but I have enjoyed her recipes over the years with many fond memories stirring in my heart.
My parents and most of their friends are no longer with us to enjoy these delicacies, but their memory lives on each year as some of her closest family and friends enjoy her recipes.
