Veteran's Day

We owe each veteran a huge debt of gratitude for doing their part.
Veteran's Day

Today is a day set aside to celebrate our Veterans. Having grown up in a family saturated with a history of service to our country, it is logical that I married a Veteran, proud of his rich heritage. Although Ron left active duty in 1969, the memory of his time in active service remains alive in his heart. His love of our country is obvious.

Join me in taking a few moments to thank the Veterans in your life for their service. The days, months and years in service to our country were a big deal to them ... their sacrifices have served as a big deal to our country! It goes without saying that we owe each one a huge debt of gratitude for doing their part to keep the United States safe, free, and thriving.

O God, we give you praise for these people who have allowed us to serve and worship You in freedom. We do not take for granted that there are millions of Christians around the world afraid of prison or even death because of what they believe. Our veterans are a significant reason why we do not fear and we thank You for them. Amen. (1)

Happy Veteran's Day!
