When trouble knocks at our door, we quickly become owners of it, identifying our very selves with our troubles, taking on the persona of one who has become one with their circumstances.

Oh, how often we sell short the power of Christ at work in our lives by our limited understanding of His fullness that dwells within us!
FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS' SAKE
I believe the key word is not necessarily “persecuted” but “righteousness” because it is because of righteousness that many face persecution.

Our Merciful Father made a way for us all even in the midst of His own grief over the wickedness of mankind.
