TREES

Trees, trees, everywhere, growing tall and strong...

Children's Poem

Apple trees
Pear trees
Taste them if you please

Cherry trees
Peach trees
Full of honeybees

Trees, trees everywhere
Growing tall and strong
Listen to the rustling leaves
Sparrows sing along

Summer trees
Fall trees
Palm trees by the seas

Maple trees
Pine trees
Trees in all degrees

Trees, trees all year ‘round
Some like summer sun
Others like the wintry cold
All of them are fun

Climbing trees
Tall trees
Will you help me please?

Swinging trees
Strong trees
Hold up my trapeze

Trees, trees playful trees
Growing all around
Lots of fun for you and me
Playing lost and found

Pretty trees
Plain trees
Trees with lots of leaves

Willow trees
Oak trees
Bending in the breeze

Trees, trees, I love trees
Even trees with nests
Groves and forests, orchards, too
Are the very best

Scattered trees
Clumped trees
Even trees with fleas

Bumpy trees
Smooth trees
Trees that skin my knees

Trees, trees, big green trees
Short or fat or tall
Every day I climb a tree
Trying not to fall

City trees
Farm trees
Trees that come in threes

Little trees
Large trees
Some will make you sneeze

Trees, trees, all the trees
Anywhere they’re at
I thank God for making trees
So does my big cat
