Peace In His Forgiveness

When the waves and floods of bitter tears
Pour from our eyes,
They serve as a mirror of pain, hurt, and guilt;
Yet, we feel His hand reaching out.

When the gentle touch of the Spirit
Moves on our hearts
He brings with Him a vulnerable tenderness;
Soon, we find ourselves at His feet.

When the broken heart crying out in pain
Feels His mercy
And quickly responds with heartfelt repentance,
Then, we find peace in His forgiving love.

Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." (Mark 4:39)
