When trouble knocks at our door, we quickly become owners of it, identifying our very selves with our troubles, taking on the persona of one who has become one with their circumstances.

When the sweet voice of victory chases away despair, When the infallible Word of the Lord strengthens faith, When things of this world fade in the Light of His presence, I will praise Him still.

Connect to the Vine, draw your very life-breath from the Source of life. Open the door to your heart and invite Him to set up housekeeping.

What proof do we have that He is indeed “mighty to save” regardless of what it is we are facing? As Spurgeon so clearly states: “Jesus is mighty to save; the best proof of which lies in the fact that he has saved you."
